Masterclass at Koehler and Dramm Institute of FloristryFloral design is truly a craft. It takes much time and effort to perfect that craft, not least of which includes continuing education. To that end I continually update myself with current techniques, styles and trends as well as polishing the basics.
Recently I attended a week long Floristry 4 masterclass at Koehler and Dramm Institute of Floristry in Minneapolis. It was a fabulous class! The designs were challenging and allowed me to stretch my skills to the next level.
Ardith Beveridge, AAF, AIFD, PFCI, CAFA, continues to be my instructor and mentor not only for design, but in many aspects of the floral industry. Over the course of the week, the other students in class became good friends and the skills gained continued to push my design and style.
Every day I left class knowing that I am a better designer than I was when I arrived in the morning, and now I'm even more excited to share my craft with others. |
